Wanderers St Faiths Petanque Club and we are based at the St Faiths Centre, Manor Road, Horsham St Faith, Norwich, NR10 3LF.

My contact details are Lynne Urquhart, 41 Nursery Close, Hellesdon, Norwich, NR6 5SL.  Tel:  01603 465507

Our main terrain has floodlighting with railway sleepers as edging boards and is surrounded by grass and also has a Club shed complete with all necessary requirements for tournament play.  In addition there is a further extended grass garden area suitable for picnics.

This terrain will accommodate nine pistes size 12 metres x 3 metres or 3 pistes size 15 metres x 4 metres.  The surface comprises small shingle which varies depending upon weather conditions.  During dry spells it is medium/smooth with run of boule being medium fast but inclement weather will have the effect of slowing things down somewhat.

In addition to this facility we also have an additional heavier shingle area at the rear of the St Faiths Centre which we have used on several occasions.  The overall size of this area which can be closed off to the public is 37 metres x minimum 15.5 metres to accommodate twelve pistes size 12 metres x 3 metres or 9 pistes size 15 metres x 4 metres.  The surface is medium/rough and the fact that it is more suited to high lobs confirms it to be medium/slow.

The Centre has toilets and the bar serves hot and cold drinks and toasted sandwiches.  In the village there are two pubs which both serve meals as well as a couple of restaurants.  Also approximately two miles from our venue on the main road is a McDonalds which has a drive through facility and is next door to a Brewers Fayre restaurant.

We are affiliated to the EPA.

Last year we had 41 adult members and 15 young people under 18.  We charge young people £1 to join the Club and for this we affiliate them to the Norfolk County Association and the EPA (a condition being that they have to use their licence).

There is a large tarmac car park to the front of the Centre and another tarmac car park to the rear and side of the building.

The Centre and terrain are wheelchair accessible.
